Hi! My name is Molly Maronde and I am thrilled to be a teacher at YES! Teaching is my passion and it has been something I've wanted to do ever since I was a little girl. I grew up on a farm outside of Glenvil, Nebraska and attended school at Sandy Creek. I attended Doane College and graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I also received my Master's from Doane University in Curriculum and Instruction. I am entering my 8th year of teaching, with it being my 2nd year at YES! Previous schools that I have taught at include Clearwater-Orchard Public Schools (2nd grade) and Centennial Elementary School (special education). I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 7 years. He is also a teacher at the high school, teaching biology and physics. We have been blessed with two children, Emma and Brody. Outside of teaching we love to be outside, kayaking, going on walks, riding bikes, and playing at the park. Brian and I help lead the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at the high school. I also help coach high school basketball.
